Eksperimen Sains Interaktif Media Ajar Cacing Menari untuk Mengasah Motorik Halus dan Sensorik Anak di TK Al-Fadholi Kota Malang

This community service activity aims to support the development of fine motor skills and sensory stimulation of early childhood through the implementation of simple science experiments based on explorative teaching media "Cacing Menari" at Al-Fadholi Kindergarten, Malang City. The scope of the activity includes improving manipulative skills, concentration, eye-hand coordination, and introducing the concept of water capillarity through safe and fun media for children aged 5-6 years. The method used is an interactive experimental approach, with stages of activity including decorating tissues, rolling, observing capillarity phenomena, and reflective discussions with children and accompanying teachers. This activity involved 23 students who were actively accompanied by class teachers and facilitators during the implementation. The results of the activity showed that this activity was able to improve children's fine motor skills, such as drawing, rolling tissues with chopsticks, and conducting directed observations. In addition, multisensory stimulation obtained through direct interaction with experimental materials successfully stimulated children's senses of touch, sight, and strengthened children's language skills through simple question and answer sessions. Active participation of children and teacher support played an important role in the success of this activity. The conclusion of this activity is that the experiment of using the “Dancing Worms” teaching media can be an effective, interesting, and easy-to-apply learning media to stimulate fine motor skills and sensory skills of early childhood, and can be an alternative learning activity that can be applied sustainably in early childhood education institutions.
